Kids' Mosaic Design Party SAT?SUN

Just a reminder that all neighborhood kids, toddlers through teens– and parents/guardians – are invited to take part in designing the interior of the tracings made two weekends ago.  The chosen tracings will be made into mosaics that will be placed on a wall near the roundabout to be constructed under Verona Road this summer.

Kids’ Tracing Parties for Roundabout Mosaics Draw Nearly 30 Kids
       (Attachment: “pics parties & meetings.jpg”)

The tracing parties at the Boys & Girls Club on February 22 and Prairie UU Society on February 23 drew a total of 28 kids.  More tracings were obtained during the following week at the Boys and Girls Club, Second Baptist Church, at Prairie UU, and through taking the tracing sheets to several people who had kids but couldn’t get to the tracing parties.

The photo above shows 4 girls who attended the tracing party at Prairie Society on the February 23rd.  For more pictures of the parties, look at the attachment.
